Dear readers,

 

In this issue, Dr William Tebar and Dr Diego Christofaro present their paper titled ‘Association of Early Sports Participation with Sedentary Behavior in Community- Dwelling Adults—The Role of Sociodemographic Factors in a Retrospective Epidemiological Study’, which was awarded by the Journal of Physical Activity and health as the best article from LMIC researches in 2024.

 

Chile advances in legislation and evaluation of physical activity policies and, for those interested in Public Policies, the Simpósio Internacional de Políticas Públicas de Atividade Física e Comportamento Sedentário will take place in Aracaju from August 27 to 29, 2025 (more details in the Happens in South America section).

 

We also celebrate the achievements of our members with recent awards for international internship and scientific highlight. Additionally, a compilation of recent publications by SAPASEN members is available in the Publications section.
